Are there any unique training opportunities in your fellowship program? (For example: rotation with CTRM, H&I Lab, exposure to CAR T Therapy, etc.)
Our program has 18 clinical and research faculty members who provide outstanding learning opportunities for fellows in both hematopoietic cell transplantation (HCT) and immune effector cell therapy (ICE-T) including CAR-T cell therapies. We currently offer six FDA-approved CD19 and BCMA CAR-T cell therapies for myeloma, lymphoma and Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia and more than 25 research protocols utilizing cellular immunotherapies including CARs, TILs, TCRs, and DC vaccines. In addition to our numerous ICE-T Trials, our robust BMT Research program currently has more than 20 open clinical trials. We now perform more than 580 hematopoietic stem cell transplants and Immune Effector Cell infusions annually. Our Fellows have numerous opportunities to participate in research in immunotherapy, transplantation and GVHD prevention and therapy. We tailor the Fellowship experience for each of our fellows so that they may get both a robust HCT and ICE-T experience and gain expertise in their particular areas of interest.
